I bet the tourist was American.
When I was at Glenhuntly Depot, there was a regular passenger we called Scarf Lady. She would sit and talk to herself as if she was having a conversation. I remember one day a group of Asian students got on and sat in the seats next to her. She poked one of them with her walking stick and said “I think there are too many of you in this country. Maybe you should consider going back”.
Hah.
