Wiiiiiiiii

Nintendo Wii

After spending way too much time trying to get my hands on one, giving up for a while then going batshit trying to track on down, I can safely say that Craphola towers is now the proud owner of a Wii gaming console.

Like the xBox 360 it’s found it’s home in our Cinema Room. We’ve almost worn out the controllers playing Wii sports. In all honesty Wii Sports does require a small amount of fitness, I found myself dripping in sweat after a small while of gameplay.

The controllers take a while to get used to, there is a built in speaker, microphone and rumble pack. The console itself has built in wireless, (something the 360 doesn’t) however the Wii doesn’t include component cables (Nintendo ones cost $50).

Games are fairly pricey so I’m holding off on purchasing new ones little while longer.

Trash Can Error

Apple’s Trash can is that awesome, it can actually delete files that do not exist. Ironically, this issue has existed since Mac OS 8. Just goes to show that some things don’t change.

Panorama Desk Study

Just testing out the camera panorama function. Nothing like the workspace at my old job. I ain’t gonna complain. I’ll probably upload a better image tomorrow.

Out of balance

Something tells me GE money couldn’t orgainse a cup of coffee without fucking it up.

Welcome, Back!

Hello and welcome to the new FNT on Wordpress. I decided after sporadic posting to knuckle down and get back into the world of blogging, ranting and the occasional joke (which will remain far and few between). After all this is the 3rd year and there are some readers so I must be doing something right.

My decision to move over to Wordpress was fueled by the fact that I wanted to do some interesting stuff, web-wise* and take a bit more control over the management and operation of my site. Being a cautious sort I did some extensive (5 minutes worth) testing to ensure that everything moved over as expected.

So hold onto your hats folks cause promise to you 2008 is going to be an awesome year.

* I’m an internets developer so it’s my duty (heh heh doody) to do interesting stuff web-wise.
